About Us

The Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council is committed to improving, protecting and supporting the interests of its members and Aboriginal people within the Council’s area. Our vision is to be proud, active and independent in our lifestyles, living environment and cultural heritage through strong connections to land, culture and community.

The Gudida team brings this vision to life by delivering authentic Aboriginal cultural experiences on Worimi Country. Based at Murrook Culture Centre and the surrounding Country, we offer workshops, tours and immersive learning experiences that share the stories, knowledge and traditions of the Worimi people.

Gudida is a welcoming place for community, schools, organisations and visitors to engage with culture from an Indigenous perspective. Our programs are led by knowledgeable local Aboriginal educators and explore language, storytelling, arts and crafts, traditional practices, land connections and cultural knowledge.

Through these experiences, we aim to strengthen cultural understanding, support community and ensure Worimi culture continues to be shared with future generations.
